I truly believe that my higher power (who I choose to call GOD) speaks to me with music if I will just listen. I love music of all types as you can tell by the collection of songs that I have on this blog, the one that I added today is a beautiful song by Alan Jackson that just touched my heart. I still struggle everyday with the loss of one of my very best friends in the world, Kristi K, and I just love this song. Kristi's sister actually is the one that told me that I needed to hear it and I am so glad I did.
Still attending meetings of AA or NA daily, just to get back into the groove of things. I always tell the girls that I sponsor that they need to do 90/90, so it will not hurt me to do the same!!!
I always hear something that I need to hear in a meeting and this morning was no different...
Tomorrow I hope that there is some news from Neva's Dr's about her bone marrow biopsy and if this is Leukemia that it is the type that can be treated quickly and eradicated completely. If there is anyone that I know that can walk through an illness with grace and maintain her faith it is Neva. Prayers are constant here in Spearman town and all over for her full recovery.

plodding along this path
Well this has been a pretty good day, we started a hospice volunteer class and there were 16 that came to the first day. It went fairly smoothly. Last night there were 4 of us that went over to Borger to an NA meeting, and I went to an AA meeting tonight. It was a candle light meeting and it was very good. All in all just a pretty good day..... I have to go and get all the clocks changed so we will be to church on time in the morning!!! Day light savings time so sux!!!

Return and begin again
Well it sure has been a long time!!! Life has been moving forward at a rapid pace, as life always does. Jeremy is in Korea and will be there a month. The other 3 boys are doing good. Dusty hit a cow the other night and messed up his car, but he and his friends were ok. There was another car that hit the same cow right after him and they flipped end over end and landed in a pasture. They were not so lucky, they flew the driver to Amarillo via helocopter and took 4 small kids to the Dumas hospital. Work is busy and I am back to looking for another nurse. I had one for 6 weeks and she was great, but she was not able to stay. I am getting back in to the recovery mode and have been trying some new meetings in surrounding towns. It gets kind of stale after a while when all you have are the same 3 or so people all the time. Well just a quick post before work.
